weekly smile recap
weekly smile recap
This is my first post — there’s nothing better to start with than reflecting back and sharing the things that made me smile this past week. I hope these weekly reflections will lead me to a more ‘glass half full’ mentality.
Let’s see how it goes. 😇
I’ve been under a lot of pressure at work lately and fought off my manic Monday vibes by catching up with old girlfriends over dinner. We went to a place called Rooftop in Walnut Creek — (I haven’t been to WC in years, the downtown is HUGE and tons of shopping. I definitely want to come back and roam around.)

We spent the evening sharing life updates, giggling over inside jokes and taking trips down memory lane. It was wonderful.
Yesterday was my nephew Aashir’s 12th birthday! I love when my niece & nephew’s birthdays come up because it’s an opportunity for me to catch up on my youth, current fashion and what they’re into. At the same time it reminds me how quickly time flies by as I look through years and years of old photographs — vividly remembering the day they were born. We have such a strong bond and enjoy goofing off with each other.
I love being a Masi. 🥰
To celebrate the gang came over, sweatpants and all, and we lazed around in the backyard. Our wacky dogs Miss Piggy & Kermit were distracting us through conversation but lots of hugs and cuddles were exchanged, too.
I love my family. ❣️
